Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Leumos Private Limited, a company incorporated in India, which operates leumos.ai and Leumos AI Studio. Below, “Leumos,” “we” and “us” mean that company, and “the service” means the website, your Leumos account and the Studio together.

They apply from the moment you create an account or use the service. If you do not accept them, do not use it. How we handle information is set out separately in our privacy notice, and how cookies are used in our cookie policy; both form part of this agreement.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. It is not designed for children and we do not knowingly hold a child’s information.

If you are using Leumos for a company, a studio or a client, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on its behalf, and “you” then means that organisation as well as you. You may not use the service if we have previously ended your access.

The Studio needs an account. You can sign in with an email address and a password, or with Google. Give us accurate details and keep the email address on the account current — it is how we reach you about the service, and it is the address we will act on if you write to us.

Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at studio@leumos.ai if you think someone else has reached it.

Leumos AI Studio is a colour-grading tool that runs in your browser. You bring your own footage, work on it, and export a graded file.

The service is sold in plans. What each plan includes — the monthly allowance for reference matches, the largest clip you may bring in, the export resolution, and whether footage can be kept in our cloud — is shown in the product before you choose a plan, and again on your plan page. Those are the figures that bind; this page deliberately repeats none of them, so there is only ever one place to read them.

We may add to, change or withdraw parts of the service. Nothing on the website is a promise that a particular feature will ship, or ship on a particular date.

You keep every right you already hold in the footage, stills and other material you bring to Leumos, and in the grades, looks and settings you create from it. We claim no ownership of any of it, and we do not use your material to train models.

To run the service we need your permission to handle that material, so you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, copy, transmit and process it for one purpose only: providing the service to you. The licence covers nothing else. It is not permission to publish your work, show it to anyone, use it in marketing, or sell it. It lasts only while we hold the material in order to provide the service, and it ends when the material is deleted.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload. Do not bring material into Leumos that you are not allowed to copy or process, and do not bring in personal data of other people beyond what appears in ordinary footage.

When you use Leumos, do not:

• upload or process material you do not have the rights to, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
• produce or handle material that is unlawful, or that sexualises children;
• attack, overload, probe or interfere with the service, or try to reach parts of it you have not been given access to;
• reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the service’s source, models or methods, except where the law expressly allows it despite this clause;
• scrape the service, or run automated or bulk access against it, without our written agreement;
• resell, sublicense, rent out or share your access, or use one account to serve several people;
• work around a plan limit, an allowance or any other restriction the service applies to your account;
• upload malicious code.

The service — its software, its interface, its looks and presets, the tooling behind them, and the Leumos name and marks — belongs to us or to our licensors. These terms let you use the service; they transfer no ownership in it to you, and no right is granted except the one stated here.

The graded output you make with the service is yours, on the same terms as the footage it came from. The Studio also includes open-source and other third-party components, which remain their authors’ and are provided under their own licences.

If you send us feedback or a suggestion, we may act on it freely and owe you nothing for it. We will not identify you as its source without your agreement.

Paid plans are subscriptions. Payments are taken by Razorpay, our payment processor; we never receive or hold your card number. By subscribing you authorise the recurring charge for your plan until you cancel it.

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each paid period. You can cancel at any time from your plan page: cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep the plan and everything it includes until the period you have already paid for ends.

Refunds are governed by our refund and cancellation policy, which is part of these terms. If a payment fails or your plan lapses, your account continues on the free tier and the material in it is kept as described in the privacy notice.

We may change what a plan costs or includes. If we do, we will tell you before the change applies to you, and you can cancel rather than accept it.

We do not promise the service will be available without interruption. It depends on infrastructure we do not own, it is maintained, and it can fail. We give no uptime commitment and no guaranteed support response time.

Keep your own copies of your source footage and of any work you cannot afford to lose. Leumos is not a backup service and must not be the only place anything exists.

The service is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties and conditions, including that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that it will fit a particular purpose, or that any result it produces will meet your expectations. Colour work is a judgement, and no automated result is a substitute for yours.

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill, lost business, or lost or corrupted footage or data, arising out of or connected with your use of the service.

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims connected with the service, taken together, is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing in them takes away rights you have under the consumer law where you live.

You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from material you brought into the service, from your breach of these terms, or from your infringement of someone else’s rights. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and will not settle it in a way that binds you without your agreement.

You can stop using Leumos at any time, and you can ask us to close your account and delete what we hold by writing to studio@leumos.ai from the address on the account.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or where we have to in order to protect the service or the people using it. If we end your access for any other reason, we will give you a reasonable chance to retrieve material you have stored with us, and we will refund the unused part of a period you have already paid for.

The clauses that are meant to survive do: your footage stays yours, what belongs to us, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law.

We may update these terms. When we do, the “last updated” date at the top changes and the new version applies from that date. If a change is significant, we will try to tell you before it takes effect — for example, by email to the address on your account. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect is your acceptance of it; if you do not accept it, cancel and stop using the service.

These terms and any dispute arising out of them or the service are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hisar, Haryana, India.

If you live somewhere whose law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts, this clause does not take that right away.

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our agreement; we may transfer ours to a company that takes over this business. These terms, with the privacy notice, the cookie policy and the refund policy, are the whole agreement between us about the service.
